Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) – Wyman Gordon division in North Grafton, MA – seeks a Quality professional to ensure government and customer requirements are met and product compliance is maintained.

Responsibilities include driving QMS implementation, SPC enhancements, staff training on problem solving, and leading root-cause analyses. This role acts as liaison with customers and regulators and supports document control and DCN processes.

Qualifications

• BS minimum, MS, or 3-5 years of experience in quality related functions preferred
• SPC/Process Controls experience
• FMEA experience
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and teamwork across functional boundaries
• Excellent communication skills

Job Description

PURPOSE

Assure Wyman-Gordon's Quality systems and procedures satisfy government and customer requirements, and assure compliance of product shipped to contractual requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Drive error-free and effective implementation of QMS System
• Drive implementation and improvement in Statistical Process Controls
• Train employees at all levels of the organization in Statistical Process Controls and root cause problem solving methods
• Drive FMEA to improve the quality and reliability of the process
• Support investigations and atypical events, as well as resulting corrective or preventive action implementation
• Root cause analysis facilitation/participation
• Build reliability into Operations equipment and processes
• Identify and implement process & safety improvements
• Point of point of contact with customers, regulatory, and government agencies on quality related issues, and audits
• Maintain Quality System documents, including issuance, revision, approval, distribution, archival, and document retention.
• Coordinate document changes through the Design Change Notice (DCN) process.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• BS minimum, MS, or 3-5 years of experience in quality related functions preferred
• SPC\\Process Controls Experience
• FMEA
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and teamwork across functional boundaries
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of forging processes is preferred

Relocation

Relocation is authorized for this position.

Compensation

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $65,000 to $85000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter.

• Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year.
• Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
