Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, or metrology preferred.
• Ability to supervise QA personnel and guide daily quality procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Gage R&R studies.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma tools like DOE and data-driven problem solving.
• Working knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, and other quality methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality control methods, procedures, and equipment to ensure product quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Implement inspection standards for materials, components, products, and production processes.
• Identify quality issues, maintain inspection records, and support CAPA activities.
• Manage non-conforming material processes including containment, rework, and disposition.
• Analyze customer complaints and internal failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support quality assurance personnel and align with quality objectives, timelines, and production requirements.
• Conduct process capability studies, gage R&R, and measurement system analyses for data-driven problem solving.
• Prepare quality reports using statistical analysis, trend monitoring, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production capabilities and improvements.
• Work with suppliers and Applied partners on quality initiatives.
• Contribute to community-impact projects in the Madison, SD area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive quality control methods, procedures, and equipment to ensure consistent product quality in a manufacturing environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, or metrology processes preferred
• Ability to supervise quality assurance personnel and guide daily quality procedures
• Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control, including performing and interpreting Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies and measurement system evaluations
• Familiarity with Six Sigma tools including Design of Experiments and data-driven problem solving
• Working knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, and other core quality methodologies
• Proficiency with document and reporting software such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Capable of working independently and as a team member
• Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
• Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Desire to work on a variety of projects

ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

Engineer I: $34.62-$40.38/hour

Engineer II: $38.46-$44.23/hour

Engineer III: $43.27-$49.04/hour

Senior Engineer: $46.63-$53.85/hour

Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations. Paid overtime may be available.
