Position Summary

The Manufacturing / Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products procured or manufactured meet internal and customer quality standards. This role supports operations through process design, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, while providing technical expertise across manufacturing and quality functions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain product setup and documentation including part numbers, BOMs, routings, labor rates, and descriptions.


  • Perform cost analysis for new and existing parts; process engineering change notices.


  • Conduct time studies to determine process times and manufacturing capacities.


  • Interpret product drawings, specifications, and engineering data to develop processes.


  • Provide technical support for operations such as tooling, stamping, perforating, forming, and welding.


  • Define and optimize manufacturing sequences for costing, fabrication, and assembly while ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.


  • Develop and implement corrective action plans for process improvements or customer complaints.


  • Prepare and maintain Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
