Job summary

Eastridge in Fremont, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support quality systems, drive process improvements, and ensure customer satisfaction through robust CAPA and auditing practices.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or related field, 3+ years in quality, and hands-on experience with ISO9001, SPC, FMEA, and supplier collaboration. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or Test Engineering.
• Experience in electronics, hardware, server, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 standards and quality systems.
• Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, SPC, FMEA, and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting tools.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key Quality interface between customers and internal teams to ensure expectations are met
• Support complaint management activities and corrective/preventive action implementation (CAPA)
• Analyze supplier performance and provide reporting and feedback
• Participate in internal Quality System Audits and corrective action follow‑up
• Develop and analyze statistical data to identify trends and process improvement opportunities
• Support and maintain ISO9001 compliance and associated procedures
• Assist in the development and delivery of quality‑related training programs
• Support product development and new product introduction (NPI) activities
• Develop and evaluate process capability studies, control plans, and process audits
• Create and maintain inspection/test plans, standards, and work instructions
