Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Leads in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System across the business unit. You will help with corrective actions, supplier quality, customer complaints, change control, audits, procedures, test methods, and process controls.

This onsite role requires 3 years corporate experience, a 4-year degree, and strong analytical and communication skills; ASQ certification and project

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance for the implementation and ongoing utilization of the QMS elements including corrective actions, supplier quality management, customer complaints, change control, audit processes, standard procedures, test methods, and process controls.
• Ensure BU systems are tied into corporate standards via continual reviews and oversight; assist with and maintain standard scorecards and reports (NPS, SSD, CARs, SCARs, Change Control).
• Assist with identifying trends and reports that add value for leadership decision-making.
• Provide advice and expertise on new systems roll-outs across the Company (Agile, Oracle EBS, CRM, etc).
• Provide support to BU quality leaders in the application and implementation of quality systems.

Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer responsibilities include providing support to business unit Quality Leads for standardized quality systems. These include data collection schemes, test methods, standard instructions, audits, manuals, and other routine quality systems areas. All the elements of a sound quality system must be successfully ushered through the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable international quality system requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

Provide hands-on assistance for the implementation and ongoing utilization of the elements of the QMS (Quality Management System.). These include corrective actions, supplier quality management, customer complaints, change control, audit processes, standard procedures, test methods, and process controls. Ensure Business Unit systems are tied into corporate standards via continual reviews and oversight Assist with and keep standard scorecards and reports for all aspects of corporate quality, not limited to and including NPS, SSD, CARs, SCARs, Change Control processes. Assist with identifying trends and reports that add value for our leadership teams' decision-making. Provide advice and expertise on new systems roll-outs across the Company (Agile, Oracle EBS, CRM, etc) Provide support to BU quality leaders in the application and implementation of quality systems.

This is an onsite position located at our Elk Grove Village, IL Facility
