Responsibilities

• Support analysis of manufacturing processes, equipment and systems to identify quality improvements.

• Perform inspections and quality assessments under guidance of senior engineers.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate activities with suppliers and service providers as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and change management.
• Maintain knowledge management and documentation systems.

Location: Dubuque, IA Salary: $34.00 USD Hourly – $36.00 USD Hourly Description:

Quality Engineer

Duration: 1 Years Contrac t

Location: Dubuque, IA/ Onsite

Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Note- The compensation range provided for this position does not include benefits and reflects base pay only.

Quality Engineering role provides an opportunity to become integrated into a manufacturing engineering environment by supporting quality and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities are generally focused in scope, with work performed under the guidance and review of experienced engineering professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the analysis of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems to identify opportunities for quality and process improvements.
• Assist in developing and conducting feasibility studies and validation activities for proposed engineering solutions.
• Support the creation, revision, and evaluation of engineering standards, specifications, and quality documentation.
• Perform inspections and quality assessments of products, processes, equipment, or installations under the direction of senior engineers.
• Help identify non-conformances and support corrective actions to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate activities with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers while serving as a point of contact as needed.
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using established change management practices.
• Assist with maintaining and utilizing knowledge management and documentation systems.
• Support product development, process validation, and engineering projects by analyzing requirements and providing technical input.
• Contribute to project execution activities while following established project plans, schedules, and objectives.
