Job summary

Walmart Supply Chain seeks a Quality Engineer in Buckeye, AZ to lead quality loss elimination using WPS tools and drive KPI improvements across distribution centers. You will partner with DC leaders to establish standard work and sustain gains, leveraging Six Sigma, 5S, RCA, and time/motion studies.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

What you’ll do…

Note: This position is not eligible for sponsorship.** **Position summary Help raise the bar on quality and process reliability as a Quality Engineer within Walmart Supply Chain. In this role, you’ll lead loss-elimination work using Walmart Performance System (WPS) methods—turning data, observations, and root cause insights into standard work and sustained improvements. You’ll partner with DC leaders to reduce variation, strengthen One Best Way execution, and deliver measurable KPI gains. About Supply Chain Supply Chain is the engine that moves product through our Distribution Centers to serve stores and customers with speed and accuracy. Our teams run complex, high-volume operations where quality and consistency directly impact service and cost. This Quality Engineer role drives WPS-based quality excellence by identifying losses, improving standard work, and enabling leaders and associates to sustain better performance. What you’ll do

• Lead quality loss elimination using WPS tools (5S, RCA, Six Sigma, time/motion studies)
• Build quality loss profiles, KPI reporting, and gap analyses to guide improvement work
• Manage execution of top quality-loss projects and identify replication opportunities
• Create and improve standard work to reduce process variation and prevent deviations
• Partner with DC leaders to support WPS programs, engagement, and KPI improvements
  What you’ll bring
• Experience applying process improvement methods (RCA, 5S, Six Sigma, time/motion) in operations
• Ability to analyze KPIs, build loss profiles, and translate insights into actions/standard work
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects from problem definition to sustainment
• Working knowledge of WPS-style operating rhythms and playbook/standard work governance
• Comfort coaching leaders/associates on continuous improvement expectations and routines

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Preferred Qualifications…

Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with experience applying basic Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools, Possess applied knowledge of a functioning Quality Management System elements including Statistical Process Control, FMEA, Quality KPIs, etc
