Position Summary

The End of Line (EOL) Inspector is responsible for performing final inspections of finished goods at the end of the production line to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role plays a critical part in identifying defects, verifying product functionality, and maintaining compliance with internal quality procedures before products are packaged and shipped.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of finished products for defects, damage, or quality non-conformance
  • Use inspection tools and equipment (e.g., gauges, test stands, checklists) to verify product specifications
  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation before release
  • Accurately record inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken
  • Communicate quality concerns to team leads, supervisors, or quality assurance staff promptly
  • Collaborate with production team members to prevent recurring issues and ensure continuous improvement
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection and work areas
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications

Work Environment

The position will be performed in a manufacturing plant environment where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear personal protective equipment issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical fitness is required to include movements such as standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, as well as postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, and gripping. Workers may need to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Frequent use of company communication devices such as a computer, phone, and other office electronics is required.
