Job summary

You will manage technicians and engineers, coordinate testing schedules, calibrate equipment, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and uphold regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field required.
• At least 3 years in a manufacturing test laboratory with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, laboratory safety standards, and quality control processes.
• Proficiency in using laboratory testing equipment and data analysis software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily lab activities, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance management.
• Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures to ensure consistent and reliable product evaluation.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to guarantee accurate test results.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to analyze test data and support product development and troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff to enhance technical skills and promote best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes, lab performance metrics, and improvement recommendations for senior management.
• Manage inventory of testing supplies and coordinate with procurement to ensure uninterrupted lab operations.
