Job summary

QTS, part of the Cretex Medical family, is seeking a Summer Quality Documentation Intern in Bloomington, MN. You will support the Quality Department with document control projects and FDA/ISO regulatory tasks, gaining hands-on experience in quality systems.

You will scan records, process documents, and learn how quality processes drive patient safety. This internship emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a two-year technical program or a four-year degree program.
• Demonstrated software application skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• English language (reading and writing).
• Experience with general office equipment, such as a copier, printer, fax machine and scanner.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building skills to create effective working relationships with suppliers, and coworkers.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks when needed.
• Ability to focus and maintain accuracy while doing highly repetitive work.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Scan quality records, and verify scan quality, page counts and completeness.
• Help process controlled documents through the QTS documentation system.
• Learn about QTS Quality System requirements and FDA and ISO regulations.
• Learn about document control and documentation control requirements.
• Help retrieve support documentation when needed.
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
• Maintains an organized work area.
• Partners with other business segments as needed.
• Work with Device History Records (DHR) and Device Master Records (DMR) when needed.
• Completes all other work duties as assigned.
