Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Quality Director for the Hinkley Point C mega project in Somerset. You will lead quality excellence across a multi‑partner alliance, driving governance, compliance and continuous improvement in a complex construction programme.

This senior role requires strategic leadership, senior stakeholder management and proven experience in nuclear delivery. On‑site, 37 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits and security clearance support.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in quality management within large-scale construction or infrastructure environments.
• Proven success developing and implementing quality strategies within the nuclear industry.
• Experience leading QA/QC and documentation programmes throughout major project lifecycles.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders, contractors and partners.
• Demonstrated success driving cultural change and high-performing quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality strategy across the alliance and ensure integration into delivery.
• Align quality standards, governance and expectations across partners.
• Oversee production, verification and timely acceptance of quality records and documentation.
• Build a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic leadership on quality performance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
