Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a Growth and Improvement-minded Data Services Specialist in Quality Control to drive strategic priorities and support stability data review, site release, and QA processes.

This role requires mastery of GLIMS, MEDS, IPI, SAP, and related documentation systems. You will influence teams, ensure regulatory compliance with FDA/GMP, and collaborate with global support and external sites to maintain data integrity and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering with ≥ 2 years in a pharmaceutical laboratory setting.
Experience in data management and documentation programs (GLIMS, MEDS, IPI, SAP, etc.).

Responsibilities

Stability data review, plant site release, and study approvals.
Review of site APR and CAPAs, data trending, and support of Quality Notifications.
Supports GLIMS updates; reviews builds, IPI specification verification.
Review of technical memos and testing protocols.
Attends departmental meetings and serves as liaison between NASU teams and external entities.
