Tilson Homes is seeking a Quality & Cost Control Specialist to join our Gulf Coast team in Texas. You will support field audits, verify material usage, review variances, and help ensure homes are built to plan, budget, and our standards.

This role blends fieldwork with reporting and cross-team collaboration to reduce waste, protect margins, and improve consistency. Regular travel throughout Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in homebuilding or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of blueprints, construction details, and materials.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills.
• Understanding of building codes and basic math.
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile apps.
• 5+ years in homebuilding or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support field audits and verify material usage.

• Collaborate with Construction, Cost Management, Drafting, and other teams to resolve issues.
