Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to maintain the quality of products produced by the Yancey Engineering Team. You will inspect tanks and enclosures at different production phases and document inspections to verify compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience with quality control inspections, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. You will support safety programs and perform additional tasks as assigned in a legacy, employee-focused company.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read tape measurements and interpret YES shop drawings.
Proficient in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must read, speak and write English; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred: quality control inspection experience; electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect tanks and enclosures at different phases of production to verify compliance of build.
Document phase inspections for each build.
Inspect UL Tank builds at different phases of fabrication for UL 142 compliance.
Scan and maintain filing of compliance documentation to job folders.
Participate in required safety program and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
