Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Quality Control Technician to check materials, products, and production for quality against company standards. This hands-on role combines inspection, basic testing, documentation, teamwork, and computer work.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, and training and support will be provided to help the right person become confident in the role. Prior QC or manufacturing experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No advanced technical background required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn company procedures and quality standards.
• Reliable and organized, able to work well with others.
• Comfortable using basic tools and a computer.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, products, and completed work for quality and consistency.
• Perform basic inspections, measurements, and quality tests using available tools and equipment.
• Compare products with guidelines, samples, specifications, or instructions.
• Record inspection results, measurements, and any issues found.
• Report quality concerns and work with team members to resolve them.
• Recheck products after corrections to ensure they meet requirements.
• Keep inspection records and quality documents organized.
• Use a computer for data entry, reports, email, and quality records.
• Keep inspection tools clean and report any equipment problems.
