Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a QC Technician to ensure quality product daily, working with Plant Engineer, Sales and Production. The role emphasizes meticulous inspection and testing across the production process.

The QC Technician will lead corrective actions, organize documentation, and train plant staff on concrete technology and QC requirements to maintain customer satisfaction and product integrity.

Qualifications

• Quality control experience preferred
• ACI Certification preferred or can be earned within 1 year
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with team
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-pour inspections on product (reinforcing, insert and hole locations)
• Perform post-pour inspections to ensure product is customer-ready
• Represent the customer inside the factory
• Test concrete and raw materials as needed
• Lead QC meetings and follow up on corrective actions
• Organize all documentation
• Coordinate with production on schedule changes and errors
• Assist in conducting QA audits
• Train plant employees on concrete technology and QC requirements
