Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Quality Technician to conduct batch testing and maintain a safe, organized lab environment. You will assist with ISO 9001 compliance, develop quality specs for materials, and coordinate with other departments on material quality status.

The role involves periodic calibration of lab equipment, documentation duties, and first piece inspections to ensure product conformance in a fast-paced plant setting in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience; minimum one year in Extruded Rubber Products (ERP) or similar industry.
• ISO knowledge preferred; familiarity with quality systems and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; basic computer skills in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform batch testing on incoming and outgoing materials as per product and procedural requirements.
• Perform calibration of lab and plant equipment on schedule.
• Assist in developing quality specifications for raw materials and finished products.
• Support ISO quality systems through proper documentation and audits.
• Communicate status of quality materials with other departments.
• Conduct first piece inspections on finished products.
