Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Griffin, GA is seeking a Quality Control Technician to uphold product quality across the engineering team.

You will perform tank and enclosure inspections at multiple production stages to ensure build compliance, document each phase, and maintain UL 142 standards documentation. The role requires reading tape measurements, shop drawings, and strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in Excel/Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of reading tape measurements and interpret shop drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must read, speak and write English clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tanks and enclosures at production phases to verify build compliance.
• Document phase inspections for each build.
• Inspect UL Tank builds at various fabrication phases for UL 142 compliance.
• Scan and file compliance documentation to job folders.
• Participate in safety program and perform tasks as assigned by management.
