Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to collect samples and perform QC testing to ensure product quality across residential and commercial projects. You will provide timely test results, certify laboratory findings, and support production with QC analysis on site at Hubbard Proj., TX.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma (3–5 years of equivalent experience) with an Associate’s degree preferred. State certifications may be required, and travel is about 30–40%.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or 3-5 yrs of equivalent experience.
• Additional Education Preferred: Associate's degree
• Required Training/Certifications: State regulated or industry certifications, as required
• Travel Requirements: 30-40%

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and performs accurate quality control testing to ensure product quality.
• Provides verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner.
• Assists manager with customer service issues as directed.
• Certifies results of laboratory findings.
• Provides QC support on various residential and commercial projects.
• Maintains mix designs as required by the project, DOT or local city/county specifications or to ensure accuracy of products used in mix.
• Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings.
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
