Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Laredo, TX is hiring a QC Inspector I to ensure product quality and safety in manufacturing or distribution environments. You will inspect materials, components, and finished products, perform visual and measurement tests, document findings, and report defects.

Collaborate with teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements. The role requires reading/writing English, basic math, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to operate powered warehous e equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products and document results.
• Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and specs.
• Identify, report defects and non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production/distribution teams to address issues and implement actions.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Assess inbound damaged goods and repackage as needed.
• Perform inventory stock checks and recall verifications; handle deviations and relabeling.
• May operate powered material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret instructions, blueprints and other docs.
• Follow SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and Medline rules.
