Altium Packaging is seeking a Quality Technician in Sparta, Tennessee to audit and test finished goods, ensuring compliance with customer standards and GMP practices. The role involves applying statistical tools, performing lab testing, and reporting quality issues to shift leadership.

Overtime may be required to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, and ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.

• ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit finished goods to ensure customer standards and GMP compliance.
• Apply statistical tools to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
• Perform in-process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Communicate quality issues and out-of-spec conditions to shift leaders and management.
• Identify process improvements and recommend changes to management.
