Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Quality Technician in Portage, MI to lead in-process and final inspections and help maintain quality records. You will calibrate tools, participate in audits, and support root-cause analysis to ensure products meet specifications.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in a quality control or manufacturing environment, and proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and CMM. GD&T and SPC knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
• Good understanding of GD&T principles and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with SPC and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-process and final inspections of manufactured products.
• Conducts root cause analysis for non-conforming materials and processes.
• Calibrates and maintains quality inspection tools and equipment.
• Documents inspection results and maintains accurate quality records.
• Assists in the development and revision of quality control procedures.
• Participates in internal and external quality audits.
• Monitors production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
