Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Control Technician/CMM Specialist opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN.
The Quality Control Technician/ Metrology (CMM) Specialist will support the new Centrifuge Manufacturing Development Facility (CMDF) in Oak Ridge, TN. This position is responsible for performing dimensional inspections, operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), supporting first article inspections, validating manufacturing processes, and ensuring measurement systems provide accurate and reliable results.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting prototype development, manufacturing process maturation, and production readiness activities by providing precise measurement data and objective evidence of product conformity. This role requires strong metrology skills, experience with advanced measurement systems, and the ability to work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality personnel in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
