Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure quality and safety across finished products. You will evaluate products, log results, and monitor line equipment while maintaining compliance with GMP standards.

Responsibilities include handling QC documentation, communicating issues, conducting audits, and supporting investigations into non-conformances. The role requires HS/GED and 1–2 years of related experience, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• H.S. or GED with 1-2 years related work experience.
• Ability to use quality control analysis equipment.
• Fluency in spoken & written English.
• Mathematical skills.
• Computer skills & data processing abilities.
• Ability to climb ladders to work platforms.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates finished products for quality and acceptability; performs analysis as required by product specification.
• Communicates quality issues to production and QC management, and to shipping/customer service staff.
• Logs analysis results and batch information in the I-Series (AS400) and maintains records for compliance.
• Monitors line equipment for functionality, safety, and cleanliness.
• Performs GMP audits and checks on detectors, magnets, scales; investigates non-conformances.
• Performs batch set-up checks and logs discrepancies; releases or holds product as needed.
• Collects micro samples and places micro holds; assists in corrective actions.
