Job Summary

This entry-level position reports to the Site Quality Manager and involves evaluating and approving or rejecting incoming materials and products based on system specifications and customer requirements. Responsibilities include following safety protocols and supporting various site functions such as receiving, production, warehousing, shipping, and customer service. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and respond to feedback appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procure cost sheets and QC standard samples at shift start for all products scheduled for production.
2. Verify preprinted/labeled cartons and labels for correctness before production.
3. Inspect and record results for incoming components.
4. Perform line checks, make approvals, and alert supervisors of non-conforming results.
5. Test spray rate, evacuation, and pressure at specified temperatures during production.
6. Take and verify retain samples against QC standards.
7. Record results in SAP QM Inspection lots.
8. Check chemical purity after breaks.
9. Ensure compliance with times listed on cost sheets.
10. Audit cartons and finished pallets for compliance with standards.
11. Evaluate packaging, labeling, and pallet configurations.
12. Fill out inventory tags correctly and verify final product compliance.
13. Approve finished products with QC stickers and complete necessary documentation.
14. Perform math calculations as per manufacturer’s specifications.
15. Report defects or issues immediately and have authority to stop production if necessary.
16. Lift components and finished goods up to 50 pounds.
17. Maintain a clean and safe work area and assist in other areas as needed.
18. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform math calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and stand for 8-12 hours.
• Problem-solving and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and basic computer skills are desired.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay ranges from $35,000 to $46,000 annually, depending on geographic location, experience, and skills. Additional compensation and benefits include:
