LKQ Corporation is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Wilmer, Texas to clean, inspect, and prepare automotive parts for shipment. You will ensure parts meet quality standards and communicate discrepancies to sales. You’ll also help secure cargo and load trucks using proper material-handling steps.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; forklift experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Clean parts – buffing small parts, power washing drive train, cleaning panels with soap and water.
• Inspect parts – matching description and quality to how it was inventoried. Communicate discrepancies to sales reps.
• Prepare for shipment – protect all small parts with bubble wrap and place them in a cardboard box, wrap bumpers with a protective cover, and place doors in racks divided by foam pads.
• Load semi-trailers going to other LKQ facilities – prepare racks with panels and small parts to be loaded on semi-trailers via a fork truck.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

• Prepare for shipment – protect all small parts with bubble wrap and place them in a cardboard box, wrap bumpers with a protective cover, and place doors in racks divided by foam pads.
• Load semi-trailers going to other LKQ facilities – prepare racks with panels and small parts to be loaded on semi-trailers via a fork truck.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Basic Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Basic computer skills.
• Able to identify most car parts.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or sit for extended periods.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. On occasions, an employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions.

May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
