Responsibilities

• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems with routine maintenance at fuel storage facilities.
• Perform routine and periodic inspections in line with standards from company, customers and regulators.
• Monitor storage tanks and related equipment to prevent spills, releases, and contamination.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Record fuel transactions, quality checks (QC) and maintenance logs.
• Adhere to station attendance and tardiness policies.
• Comply with ATA 103 and NFPA 407 / IATA QC inspection requirements; document daily.

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
• Monitors storage tanks and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state and federal safe work policies/procedures
• Makes required log entries of fuel transactions, QC, and maintenance
• Comply with the station’s attendance/tardiness standards
• ATA 103 daily, weekly, monthly quality annual inspections documented daily, NFPA 407, IATA QC requirements

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license
• Must pass all pre-employment testing including a physical, color vision test, audio test, and drug test
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Working Conditions
