Job summary

Factory6 Inc. in Lindon, UT, is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician to ensure dietary supplements meet safety, purity, and efficacy standards.

You will support production with in-process checks, material sampling, and detailed documentation to aid traceability and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include testing materials, releasing finished goods, investigating deviations, and participating in audits (FDA and third-party).

Qualifications

• 2–3 years QA/QC experience in dietary supplements, food, or pharma
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and HACCP principles
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace

Responsibilities

• Sample and test incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
• Inspect and release finished goods per specifications
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and participate in CAPA processes
• Assist in internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections (FDA, third-party)
• Maintain detailed and accurate quality records for traceability and compliance
• Support updates to quality procedures, SOPs, and work instructions
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician who plays a key role in ensuring all Factory6 dietary supplements meet the highest standards of safety, purity, and efficacy. This role supports production through in-process checks, material sampling, documentation, and adherence to cGMP and FDA regulations. The QC Technician collaborates closely with Production and regulatory teams to maintain compliance and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample and test incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
• Conduct inspections and release finished goods according to established specifications
• Investigate and document deviations, non-conformances, and participate in CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes
• Assist in internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections (FDA, third-party, etc.)
• Maintain detailed and accurate quality records for traceability and compliance.
• Support updates to quality procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related role within dietary supplements, food, or pharmaceuticals
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and HACCP principles
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or Google Workspace Preferred
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Experience with quality systems (e.g., HACCP, SQF)
• Familiarity with dietary supplement manufacturing equipment and processes
• Prior experience in a cGMP-regulated environment
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to conduct and interpret quality control analyses of raw materials and finished goods.
• Close attention to detail, reliability, and ethical integrity.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across various teams.

Work Schedule:

• Swing Shift 2:00 pm 11:30 am
• Workweek is Monday through Thursday
• Opportunities for overtime are available on Fridays and Saturdays

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: Starting rate of $21.00 - $24.00 (DOE)
