About the job

The Quality Assurance Operator will support operations through process and equipment improvements to protect operators, ensure excellence in quality, meet regulatory and engineering specifications, and align with GLV International customers’ needs.

Work Requirements:

·On-Site, Full-Time, Occasional domestic travel may be required approximately 2 to 4 times per year.

·Able to work overtime (Saturdays or Sundays) or temporary off shift assignments as needed.

General responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Material Handling teams daily to control incoming and outgoing quality.
• Perform various quality assurance tests on finished goods built in house, from supplier, and packaged goods ready for shipping.
• Train and become proficient at each job station to gain hands-on understanding of the processes.
• Manage and upkeep quality assurance metrics and data keeping processes.
• Generate non-compliance reports for in-house quality concerns or SCARs for supplier concerns.
• Analyze current quality assurance practices and recommend future best practices and tools to improve testing accuracy.
• Perform job reviews to ensure quality measures and procedures are being performed to standard.
• Ensure that products, applications, and systems established meet customer requirements.
• Champion the application of quality principles and processes through training activities.

Experience:

• 1 - 3 years of Quality Control experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is highly desired.
• 2 - 3 years of prior experience with material handling is highly desired.
