Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Quality Control Team Member to monitor products in our warehouse, ensuring high standards are met during picking, packing and shipping. You will uphold food safety procedures and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include inspecting products for defects or expiry, conducting audits to maintain quality, and maintaining accurate paperwork. We welcome applicants with a HS diploma and 1 year QC experience; food industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 1 year of quality control experience preferred in a food industry.
• Ability to perform audits and uphold GMPs and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspects all products in warehouse for defects or approaching expiration.
• Exercises judgment during audits to ensure product quality standards are met.
• Conducts routine audits to ensure food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Maintains all paperwork in an accurate, orderly fashion.
• Assists other departments as needed for quality control.

Summary:

The quality control team member is responsible for monitoring all products distributed from our warehouse, ensuring our high standards are met throughout all stages of the picking, packing, and shipping processes. This associate also ensures all food safety procedures and GMP’s are being followed.

About You:

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• 1 year of previous quality control experience.
• Quality control experience in a food industry preferred.
