Job summary

Titan Florida, a subsidiary of Titan America, seeks a Concrete Quality Control Technician in Jacksonville, FL. The role supports high-quality ready-mix operations and reports to the Quality Manager.

You will perform ASTM/ACI/FDOT testing, inspect plants, and communicate results to customers, labs, and production teams while ensuring compliance with Titan QA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum one year in ready-mix concrete or QC.
• Strong verbal and written communication; good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime; data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample testing and monitoring of concrete production.
• Observe job-site testing and compare with independent labs.
• Communicate results to customers, labs, and supervisors.
• Inspect plants and recommend corrective actions per specs.
• Monitor test data and records for specification compliance.

We are seeking a Concrete Quality Control Technicianin Jacksonville,Florida.This salaried non-exempt position reports directly to the Quality Manager. The primary functions of this position are to ensure high quality ready-mix product and provideindustry relatedtechnical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample testing and monitoring of our concrete production and procedures for the region.

• Observe job site testing and perform comparative testing with independent testing agencies.

• Communicate with customers, testing laboratories, and dispatch and plant supervisorsregardingmixutilizationand admixture dosage rates.

• Perform plant inspections of our facilities and recommend corrective action to ensure compliance with project specifications, VDOT, Federal specifications and Titan America’s QA guidelines.

• Perform visual inspection assessments of jobsite conditions, solutions, and recommendations to correct problems if they occur.

• Monitor test report data and plant records to helpdeterminespecification compliancein accordance withproject, Federal and State specifications.

• Perform all pertinent ASTM,ACIand FDOT testing procedures and evaluations.

• Supports Sales and Production departments in resolving quality-based customer queries and complaints.

• Participates in the analysis of customer claims and supports the investigation of the causes linked to process or production conditions.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• FDOT Plant, ACI Field Testing, Aggregate, and Lab Technician Certifications preferred or able to obtain within the first six months of hire.

• Minimum one-year experience in Ready Mix Concrete, quality control, or related industry.

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.

• Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Must be computer literate in Windows, Excel, Adobe, and MS Office. Knowledge of other software programs and computer functionalitya plus.

• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

• Excellent data entry skills and ability to multi-task under pressure.
