Job description

Main Responsibilities

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring product quality for work‑in‑process, finished products, and raw materials by following established methods and procedures. This opening is at our liquid coatings facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Duties
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits on the liquid coatings produced at our facility to ensure compliance with company and customer standards.
  • Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Operate lab equipment required to perform job functions (color spectrophotometers, scales, air mixers, spray guns, gloss meters, DFT gauge, light booth, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes.
  • Collect and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports and non‑conformance records.
Experience
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in a quality technician or color matching role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and conducting quality inspections.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis for quality management purposes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
