Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 (DOE)

As part of Trexon, we manufacture high-quality cable and wire harness assemblies that support critical aerospace and defense applications. We are growing and looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

Position Summary

The Quality Control Technician plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position supports inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, highly detail-oriented, and motivated to contribute to a culture of quality and accountability.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform visual inspections and dimensional measurements on cable and wire harness assemblies to ensure compliance with customer requirements, drawings, and internal standards
  • Create, update, and maintain AS9102 FAIR documentation in internal and customer systems
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams
  • Support audits and compliance efforts, including interaction with customers and external auditors as needed
  • Identify and report non‑conforming materials, products, or documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment that supports efficiency and quality
  • Recommend and support process improvements to enhance quality and productivity
  • Assist in developing and strengthening quality processes and systems
What You Bring
  • Strong working knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
  • Experience with visual inspection and dimensional measurement
  • Ability to work under time constraints without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Comfortable working with documentation, data entry, and computer systems
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of quality control experience, preferably in cable or wire harness manufacturing
  • Experience interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Hands‑on experience with AS9102 FAIRs required
  • Experience working in an AS9100 environment preferred
  • Experience with Net‑Inspect is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
