Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Quality Control Technician to maintain fuel farm/storage, test fuels and additives, and analyze data to assure quality and reliability.

You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and log fuel transactions while following safety policies. A valid US driver's license and basic math/English skills are required; prior oil and gas experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED, or 12 months related experience.
• Basic math skills and ability to read/interpret reports.
• Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports; proficient reading/writing in English.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government, and industry standards
• Monitors storage tanks and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state, and federal safe work policies/procedures
• Makes required log entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance
• Comply with the station's attendance/tardiness standards
• Assures adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Role Purpose

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the maintenance of fuel farm/storage and related equipment, required to test and inspect fuels and additive products, compile and evaluate statistical data to evaluate and assure quality and reliability of products, and perform hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment maintenance of fuel farm/storage and related equipment.

What we are looking for:

• Must be 18 years of age, high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver's License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English, abilityto read and understand Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical reports, must be computer literate
• Must be able to perform preventative maintenance of equipment to include minor pump and valve repairs, pump oil changes, pump greasing and miscellaneous maintenance work.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing including a color vision test, drug test,background check and obtain US Customs seal
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license
• Able to handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs
