Job summary

A construction and materials company is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Redmond, Oregon. Responsibilities include sampling and testing aggregate, asphalt, and concrete, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Candidates must have Quality Control experience and strong problem-solving skills. The position offers comprehensive benefits, including medical insurance and a retirement plan. Qualifications

• Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs approximately 10‑15 times per day.
• Ability to study, take, and pass QC certification exams.

• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any day and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
• Other duties assigned as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Quality Control experience/certifications required
• Good math, record keeping and problem‑solving ability
• Computer spreadsheet experience preferred
• Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary
• Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided
• Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs. approximate 10‑15 times per day on occasion more depending on duties required
• Ability to work overtime; nights, weekends
• Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment criminal background check, physical/ functional exam and drug screen
• Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
