Job summary

Aventure Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a partner company for a Quality Control Technician in Mountain Lake, MN. The role focuses on providing analytical support and ensuring product quality across nutrition portfolios.

The schedule is 6:00am–6:00pm with a 2-on/2-off and 3-on/3-off rotation, paying $21 per hour, weekly pay and benefits. Responsibilities include conducting and interpreting lab tests, preparing samples, maintaining lab equipment, and handling routine clerical tasks while

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent.
• Laboratory experience in a food-grade facility preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret lab tests and perform calculations for accurate data reporting.
• Package and prepare samples for shipment to third-party testing locations.
• Perform routine maintenance on all lab equipment and respond to technical questions.
• Complete routine clerical work such as filing and data entry.
• Perform environmental and product testing and report results to plant/corporate management.
• Review GMP/HACCP documents and issue OOS notifications when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret lab tests as well as complete laboratory computations leading to accurate data reporting.
• Package and prepare samples for shipment to third party testing locations.
• Conduct routine maintenance on all lab equipment and respond to technical product questions.
• Complete routine clerical work such as filing, checking, and entering required information into the computer system.
• Perform environmental and product testing, communicate results to the plant and corporate management groups as needed.
• Analyze documents such as, GMP manuals, HACCP programs and send OOS notifications.

Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Previous laboratory experience, preferably in a food grade manufacturing facility, strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and computer software applications
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills
