Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead daily shop floor operations and coordinate inspections from in-process checks to final customer reports. This role requires hands-on supervision, documentation, and proactive quality management to meet customer requirements.

You will oversee quality engineers and operators, enforce procedures, and drive continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and safe work practices on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on manufacturing or shop floor experience.
• ISO-certified manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations and production activities.
• Assign work, set priorities, and balance workloads.
• Maintain hands-on presence on the shop floor to monitor quality.
• Ensure work adheres to drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Resolve production and quality issues in real time.
• Perform and oversee in-process and final inspections; verify parts meet specs.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Support customer audits and provide timely quality updates.
