Job summary

You will monitor batch quality, ensure OSHA and safety procedures, coordinate syrup-batching, support audits, and maintain documentation while leading a team to meet production and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• 2 year associate degree in chemistry, biology or related field or equivalent work experience required. 4 year bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of quality control experience; beverage industry preferred. 1-3 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains and develops employees to meet company standards and goals.
• Ensures compliance with safety, OSHA, and related laws and quality controls.
• Coordinates syrup-batching to meet production schedules.
• Monitors daily batches to optimize yield and product quality; decides on production continuation if standards fail.
• Supports audits and maintains required documentation and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and records.
• Works schedule, attends regularly and supports workload demands.
• Investigates hold product with Quality Control Manager for release or destruction.
• Communicates with vendors to ensure equipment reliability and ingredient availability.
