Job summary

M1 Support Services, LP is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QMS implementation and ensure aircraft meet PWS requirements with safe, on-time, properly configured performance.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate audits, manage manpower and training, and work with the Quality Manager to submit reports and monitor critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in the aviation industry, preferably military environment.
• Must possess a US driver's license.
• Familiarization with AS9110 or ISO 9001 is preferred.
• 3 years as Quality Control or Quality Assurance is preferred.
• Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs AS9110 audits with the Quality Manager.
• Submits required reports per Customer and Company requirements.

Job Summary:

M1 is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor

• Assists in the management and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet PWS requirements.
• Manages/implements AMP safety programs and assists at other AMP locations as required.
• Ensures 100% safe, on time, properly configured, reliable aircraft to perform missions in accordance with the PWS.
• Provides technical guidance to maintenance personnel performing aircraft maintenance.
• Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating to aircraft maintenance operations, Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and all support programs as required.
• Ensures sufficient manpower, technical data, tools and equipment are available for planned work and shift coverage.
• Assists in the investigation of aircraft/equipment/property accidents/mishaps to determine the cause of the accident and formulate recommendations to help reduce the risk of future occurrences.
• Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime.
• Applies Company policies and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees.
• Ensures employees possess the qualifications and certifications necessary to perform their jobs.
• Coordinate and perform AS9110 audits at all AMP locations with the Quality Manager.
• Submit required reports per Customer and Company requirements.
• Substitute for Quality Manager when he/she is out of office.
• Monitor the QC Database, Training Database, and Customer Maintenance Information System.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma mandatory; Associate degree or higher in related field preferred.
• 5 years' experience in the aviation industry, preferably military environment. Minimum of 3 years working on T-38 aircraft or other military aircraft as a mechanic is required.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance and quality control procedures in an Air Force aviation environment. 3 years as Quality Control or Quality Assurance is preferred.
• Must possess competent computer skills. Must be able to work any shift required.
• Familiarization with AS9110 or ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
• Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.
• Must possess a US driver's license.

Working Conditions:

• Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
