Job summary

Solvita is seeking a Quality Control Specialist in Ohio to audit manufacturing records and release tissue grafts. You will monitor processes, initiate deviations, and ensure packaging meets regulations and customer specs.

The role involves environmental testing, problem solving, and CAPA support, with emphasis on monitoring temperature-controlled equipment and participating in validations. Weekend 2nd shift hours are required, with occasional travel between Dayton and Kettering facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet physical demands with/without accommodation.
• Periodic travel between Dayton and Kettering facilities may be required.

Responsibilities

• Audits manufacturing records and approves tissue grafts for release to distribution.
• Monitors processes and evaluates need for preventive action.
• Initiates deviation documentation and ensures appropriate notifications and tissue quarantine.
• Inspects tissue grafts/packaging to ensure release meets regulations and customer specs.
• Performs environmental testing and follow-up.
• Identifies and solves problems; assists implementation of solutions.
• Monitors temperature-controlled equipment and investigates deviations.
• Assists in validation initiatives as needed.
• Participates in corrective and preventive actions and checks effectiveness.
• Tracks errors, identifies trends and documents investigations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
