Job summary

OBE is seeking a Quality Control Specialist in Terrell, TX to own MDR investigations, perform audits, and drive corrective actions. You will analyze process data, assist with internal issues, and act as the go-to for decisions on nonconforming material on the shop floor.

This role requires attention to detail and comfort with ERP systems. You will help modernize inspection documentation and coordinate follow-up on any discrepancies or complaints, partnering with the campus Quality team to share

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail with ability to own issues end-to-end.
• Experience with MDRs, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Proficient in measurement tools and reading blueprints/drawings.
• Skilled in Excel and data analysis; comfortable with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own MDR investigation and resolution; drive root-cause and corrective actions.
• Monitor daily processes; conduct audits of quality checks.
• Assist with addressing internal quality issues.
• Gather and analyze process data to create improvement reports.
• Lead problem solving and implement corrective actions with owners.
• Be the go-to for accept/reject decisions on nonconforming material.
• Help modernize quality inspection documentation.
• Coordinate tracking on rejected orders, MDRs or complaints.
• Share best practices with the campus Quality Specialist.
