Job summary

Novartis in Millburn, New Jersey is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to perform chemical and microbiological testing of materials, products, and packaging components. This on-site role supports GMP-compliant QA/QC operations, with responsibility for analytical instrumentation, environmental monitoring, sterility testing, investigations, and documentation.

The position is 2nd shift on a 4x10 schedule (3:00 pm–1:30 am), with potential changes based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in a GMP or aseptic environment.
• Hands-on experience with physicochemical techniques and analytical instrumentation (HPLC/GC/iTLC).
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and FDA guidance for QC testing.
• Understanding of aseptic principles including environmental monitoring and sterility testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, and packaging components.
• Execute environmental monitoring and sterility testing per GMP requirements.
• Prepare, operate, clean, and maintain QC equipment, reagents, and testing areas.
• Manage samples, document testing activities, report results, and escalate as needed.
