Job summary

Johnson Brothers Maverick Beverage in Texas is seeking a Warehouse Associate to optimize slotting and picking efficiency across multiple work zones. You will assign pick locations for new items, balance loads, and work with the Warehouse Manager to improve location accuracy and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), experience operating a pallet jack and forklift, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience operating a pallet jack and forklift equipment.
• Microsoft Office proficiencies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Utilize MS Excel and slotting tools to evaluate slotting locations.
• Assign pick locations for new items to optimize picking and replenishment across work zones.
• Analyze historical data and forecast to optimize product placement and worker productivity.
• Generate Moves List for location changes based on sales and slotting tools.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Manager and staff to improve slot capacities, location accuracy, and safety.
• Maintain permanent locations and capacities in WMS; slot products to decrease pick times and replenishment activities.
