Job summary

Encoder Products Company is seeking a Quality Control Product Inspector to ensure electro-mechanical assemblies meet required specifications, quality standards, and functional performance before shipment.

You will perform final inspection and functional testing, verify drawings and work instructions, document results, and communicate with production, engineering, and QA teams to resolve issues and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Quality Control Product Inspectors ensure that all electro-mechanical devices and assemblies meet required specifications, quality standards, and functional performance before shipment. This role performs detailed inspections, functional testing, and documentation to verify that finished units comply with engineering drawings, work instructions, and Company Quality Requirements.

Description

• Responsibilities-**
• Perform final inspection and functional testing of electro-mechanical assemblies and parts
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Conduct visual inspections for workmanship, wiring quality, component placement, and mechanical integrity
• Use precision tools such as multimeters, torque tools, oscilloscopes, power supplies, bore gauges, and temperature testing ovens
• Document inspection results and non-conformances
• Communicate with production, technician, engineering, and quality teams when units do not meet specifications
• Collaborate with QA, engineering, and production to resolve quality issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area
• Ensure all products meet internal, safety, quality, and regulatory standards before shipment
• Complete transactions within the companys ERP system for documentation and tracking
• Other production duties as assigned
