SRM Concrete is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC program for concrete products across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. You will build and mentor a team of technicians, interpret test results, and drive continuous improvement across departments.

You will ensure materials and finished products meet specifications, collaborate with production, and implement training to uphold SRM's commitment to excellence in quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Ready Mix Concrete Quality Control management experience, aggregates a plus.
• ACI certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of concrete testing methods and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete products using standard methods.
• Interpret test results and assess against specifications and control limits for product release.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete products using industry-standard methods.
• Interpret test results, compare findings to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations for product release.
• Perform visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with all quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with production, operations, sales, and technical services teams to identify and resolve production challenges affecting quality.
• Develop and implement quality control training programs for production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate, organized records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
• Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the concrete industry to recommend enhancements to quality control processes.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to uphold SRM's reputation for excellence.

What Sets You Apart

• 3-5 years of experience in Ready Mix Concrete Quality Control management; additional experience in aggregates is a plus.
• ACI certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of concrete technology, testing methods, and quality assurance best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management software.
• Flexible and able to accommodate varying shifts based on scheduled pours, including day and overnight shifts.
• Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings.
