Job summary

Moog ICS team is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to join the East Aurora site Quality team. In this onsite role you will provide leadership to a team of Quality Control and Inspection Technicians while establishing and maintaining effective inspection, testing, validation, and non‑conformance management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality or related technical discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team and developing staff.
• Experience with inspection, metrology, CMMs, vision systems, and advanced inspection tech.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 or other quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Quality Control Technicians, Inspectors, and Receiving Inspection personnel.
• Manage inspection operations including receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections.
• Establish and maintain inspection standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with customer, engineering, industry, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee calibration, metrology, and inspection equipment programs.
• Lead MSA and GR&R studies.
• Support new product introductions, product transfers, process validation, and production readiness.
• Manage MRB process and nonconforming material disposition.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Analyze quality metrics and drive SPC, process capability improvements, and defect prevention.
