Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or related field required.
Minimum of seven (7) years of laboratory experience.
Knowledge of GMP and 9CFR regulations.
Good English written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing people and leading teams.

Responsibilities

Ensures completion of all testing including special projects/protocol testing and establishes workload priority.
Reviews testing documentation and LIMS entries for validity and accuracy of results.
Upholds policies by ensuring compliance with internal quality guidelines and regulatory agencies.
Defines equipment and facility repairs and ensures calibrations or service contracts are completed on schedule.
Assists in personnel management including staffing, recruiting, training, and performance evaluations.
Leads or participates in cross-functional teams to improve quality and efficiency.
Monitors KPIs and takes actions to maintain favorable outcomes.
