Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the plant's quality program and ensure ICC-ES standards are met. You will perform inspections across receiving, production cutting, assembly, packaging, storage, and shipping, and record critical data accurately.

The role requires evaluating tolerances, stopping non-conforming operations, investigating issues, and generating reports to support continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months of experience in production or related area.
  • Basic knowledge of products and production processes.
  • Ability to read measurement devices including tape measures and calipers.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Identify acceptable tolerances according to prints and other documents and ensure operations remain within acceptable tolerances.
  • Stop production and/or other operations and notify proper personnel and management upon discovery of non-conformances.
  • Assist in the investigation of all quality issues and/or occurrences, and ensure that corrective measures are implemented.
  • Prepare various reports and correspondence as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Job Summary

Completes all required inspections at various points of the manufacturing process including receiving, production cutting, assembly, etc., packaging, storage, and shipping. Records measurements and other critical data in an appropriate manner.

  • Knowledge of use of measuring devices including tape measure to 1/32\" and digital calipers
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
