Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Interface with client representatives and subcontractors.

  • Stop work if necessary for non-compliant issues.

Responsibilities
  • Interface in professional manner with client representatives and subcontractors.
  • Review designs and provide feedback to designers.
  • Manage in‑depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents and manage submittal review and approval status through use of submittal register.
  • Implement the requirements of approved QC Plan, assuring all required records are generated and managed.
  • Identify deficiencies and non‑conformances, prepare documentation, and monitor and verify corrective actions.
  • Stop work if necessary to resolve non‑compliant work or matters that negatively affect safety.
  • Coordinate and document commissioning and formal completion inspections.
  • Manage a timely project closeout to include compilation and turnover of all required documents.
  • Train direct reports on processes, procedures, and completion of daily tasks.
  • Manage workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members.
  • Aid in communicating company and department strategy to direct reports.
  • Collaborate closely with business development to ensure seamless integration with sales strategies including performance metrics on your assigned projects, pursuits, and client deliverables. Actively participate in opportunities to strengthen client, partner, and industry relationships that position Gilbane as the “Builder of Choice”.
Experience / Education

BS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management ideal.
