Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
• 10 years of QC Manager experience on similar projects including DOD exposure.
• Certificate for 'Construction Quality Management for Contractors' from USACE.
• 30 Hour OSHA in construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multiple subcontractors and manage QC activities on site.
• Plan and schedule daily/weekly QC tasks and meetings.
• Lead weekly QCM meetings and communicate QC results to client and stakeholders.
• Review submittals and ensure compliance with specs and codes.
• Maintain daily QC documentation and data uploads.

Position Summary

Person will be responsible for taking full control of CQC plan for Sauer on a project at the Norfolk Naval Station VA. Person will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters.

Essential Functions

• Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors
• Efficient/Able to plan days, weeks in advance
• Detail driven
• Skillful communicator with client/subcontractors
• Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner and instill confidence in client in the QC operations
• Perform/coordinate inspections
• Upload and manage QC data on a daily basis
• Experience with high end renovations
• Perform submittal review functions
• Proficient completing required daily documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
• Candidate must have 5 years’ DOD experience 10 years’ experience as a QC Manager on similar projects
• Certificate for “Construction Quality Management for Contractors” from USACE
• 30 Hour OSHA in construction
• Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
